I’ve never parked near one before. They are.... big. I realize the Disco isn’t huge by modern standards, but I feel like in the overland/ offroad community it is considered almost too large.

I made a chart:

So yeah... really close on length and width.  Super weird.

The Defender has much longer overhangs than the Jeep , a nd the Jeeps track is wider than the body, so the  size of the cab is a little narrower than the width at the fenders. Off road, the Jeep will not get as much trail damage as the Land Rover.

I’m a little surprised the 2-door hasn’t embiggened  quite as much as I thought. Still quite a bit shorter than my TJ Unlimited.

103.4” wheelbase, 171” length.

Those trucks are comically large.

I liked it but driving that everyday would get old.

Thats cause 50% of them have the back, fenders, and other shit taken off. Then widened with mall crawler wheels and suspension bits so it’s hard to tell their size

I actually thought the Unlimited was bigger. My LR4 is 190” x 75” x 74”, and driving an Unlimited just felt like I  was in a much bigger vehicle, closer to a Tahoe (204” length)

I’d attribute that to the Land Rover, especially the LR3 and the LR4, being better to drive overall.

The first time I noticed how big the Wrangler was when I driving behind a JK and an XJ. The XJ looked sooooo small next to it
